Maya Angelou once said “People will forget what you said, people will forget what you did, but people will never forget how you made them feel.” Professor Gant and Chaya Engineering are this quote personified. I found this program after a quick google search. By the time I signed up for Chaya Engineering, I had already attempted the FE exam 3 times and had lost all hope. I ended up passing by the 5th time. I later realized that going through this program was the first time I actually felt I could pass. It is statically proven and said time and time again that the more you fail, the less likely you are to pass this exam. Thankfully, Professor Gant doesn’t subscribe to this false philosophy. Gant makes it very clear that regardless of your engineering discipline, years of work experience, time out of school, or times you have taken the test, you CAN pass if you put in the work. He focuses more on how hard you are trying currently rather than how hard you have tried in the past. The only thing he uses your past exams for is to see which subjects need to be focused on in the future and he is intentional about helping in those areas of weakness. He is always available for questions and encourages everyone to understand as much as they can and not just try to pass knowing the bare minimum. I could go on and on about how amazing I think this program is. And I have! Because of my continuous rants on how helpful I thought this course was, I now have other friends who are enrolled in Chaya Engineering. And I am happy to say that thanks to the unwavering confidence paired with the unmatched education I received through Chaya Engineering, I was able to pass the PE exam on the first trying in October 2017.

This class is essential to fully understand the breadth and depth of the PE exam. Dr. Yasanayake really takes the time to ensure everyone in the class understands the material and is aided by multiple forms of examples when necessary. New PaTaking the PE exam course with CHAYA Engineering was extremely useful as a refresher on the subjects for the exam, especially having been out of school for 5 years. After the course, walking into this exam felt no different than going in to the FE exam while I was still in school. Gant is very knowledgeable and taught each subject very well and provided an ample amount of supplemental problems to work on away from the class. The structure of the course was well put together, it didn’t feel like information was being crammed, he taught us the right amount of what was needed, and once it was complete I had the time to be able to do more work on my own leading up to the exam. The course was virtually tailor made around the reference manual and was kept well up to date with feedback from previous exams. It definitely gave me confidence going into the exam for my first attempt. The Power Point slides were a very useful addition to my materials on exam day. I don’t think I would have passed the exam on my first attempt without this course.

With the help of Chaya Engineering's FE review class; I passed the exam on the second try, 34 years after getting my Electrical Engineering degree. Chaya honored their guarantee, allowing me to retake the course for free. The course began with a review of CASIO fx-115ES calculator, which seems to be designed specifically for this exam. Gant was very patient and paused whenever I needed to catch up. He offered a lot of encouragement. He was willing to teach very small classes for little or no profit, rather than disappoint anyone who had enrolled for the exam and needed help. He coached us about disciplined study and taught us many shortcuts to working the exam problems. I highly recommend this review course.

The Power PE class from Chaya Engineering was integral for me to pass the exam. The class covered the exam topics in detail, which refreshed topics I was already familiar with and gave me the skills to tackle topics I hadn't worked with much before. I successfully passed my FE Exam! Thank you so much for teaching the prep class, all of the materials you provided, and your valuable insight into the test taking process. I wouldn't have been nearly as prepared without your class. After the exam was over, I wasn't confident that I would pass. The majority of the fluids, thermodynamics, and dynamic questions that you mentioned were typically on the exam were absent from mine. In addition, I only saw a couple mathematics problems that were similar to your set of mathematics problems and solutions. Ultimately it didn't matter, and I think that's a great testament to how well you presented the exam material. Thanks again. I'll be registering for my PE exam in Electrical and Computer soon.
